Innovating the MRF of the Future

At the request of our customers, we embarked on the challenge of creating the MRF of the Future. Our response was the development of a non-wrapping machine that disrupts the traditional MRF design flow and eliminates the need for presorting.

Introducing the Patented OCC Auger Screen

Central to this innovation is our patented OCC Auger Screen, specifically engineered to target mid to large-sized OCC (Old Corrugated Cardboard) and produce a clean end product. This system utilizes patented high-agitation augers to achieve optimal results.

Non-Wrapping Design for Durability and Low Maintenance

Each shaft of the OCC Auger Screen is a self-cleaning, rotating screw that effectively removes wrapping material, ensuring durability and low maintenance. With minimal downtime and cleaning required, this system offers enhanced efficiency and reliability.

Enhancing Safety and Efficiency

By placing the OCC Auger Screen in front of a traditional presort, hazardous materials such as sharps and needles are directed to the unders fraction, bypassing manual sorters. This not only creates a safer working environment but also streamlines the sorting process, contributing to overall efficiency.

The old way of designing a MRF. Overburdened, high material depth, unsafe workspace, many sorters needed, and a typical system bottleneck. No machines before the sorters.

The new innovative MRF design. Decreased material burden depth, less sorters needed, and improved worker safety. The machine is before any sorters.
