Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) (collectively, “California Privacy Law”) and describes how CP Manufacturing, LLC (“Company”) collects, uses, discloses, retains and otherwise processes Personal Information about California consumers.

This Privacy Policy applies only to California consumers. A “consumer” is a natural person who resides in California, including individuals acting in their capacity as employees, job applicants, or representatives of businesses.

Business-to-Business Context
The Company’s products and services are directed to businesses and their representatives. The Company does not market its products or services to individuals for personal, family, or household purposes. Personal Information collected by the Company generally relates to employees, representatives, or agents of business customers, vendors, and partners.

Notice at Collection
The Company collects the categories of Personal Information identified in this Privacy Policy for the purposes described herein. The Company will not collect additional categories of Personal Information or use the Personal Information collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing notice at or before the point of collection, as required by California Privacy Law.

Article 1 – Human Resources Consumers

Section 1. Purpose

This Article describes how the Company collects and uses Personal Information relating to job applicants, employees, owners, directors, officers, managers and contractors (“employees”).

Section 2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding twelve (12) months, the Company has collected the following categories of Personal Information:

Identifiers

Examples: A real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers

California Customer Records Information (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e))

Examples: A name, signature, Social Security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information

Sensitive Personal Information

Examples: Social Security number, driver’s license/state ID
Collected: YES (limited to what is necessary for employment and legal compliance)

Purpose: Payroll, tax reporting, identity verification, legal compliance

The Company uses Sensitive Personal Information solely for purposes permitted by California Privacy Law and does not use it to infer characteristics about individuals.

Education Information

Examples: Education records directly related to a student maintained by an educational institution or party acting on its behalf, such as grades, transcripts, class lists, student schedules, student identification codes, student financial information, or student disciplinary records

Section 4. Use of Personal Information

The Company uses Personal Information for business purposes permitted under California Privacy Law, including:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, to conduct payroll and timekeeping activities, and administer benefits.
  • To investigate and help prevent fraud or otherwise ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • To provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses.
  • To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our systems, services, databases and other assets.
  • To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
  • As described to you when collecting your personal information or as otherwise set forth in the CCPA.
  • To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Company’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the Company about our users is among the assets transferred.

The Company will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.  The Company does not sell or seek to profit from employees’ or job applicants’ personal information.

 

Section 5. Retention

The Company generally retains personnel records for at least four (4) years in accordance with applicable law. Certain records may be retained longer where required or reasonably necessary (e.g., litigation or regulatory obligations).  Personal Information collected may also be retained to meet business, operational, or legal requirements even after employment ends.

Section 6. California Privacy Rights (HR)

Employees have the right to:

  • Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information collected about them
  • Request disclosure of the categories of sources, business purposes, and third parties to whom Personal Information is disclosed
  • Correct inaccurate Personal Information
  • Request deletion
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information
  • Not be discriminated against

Requests for deletion may be limited by applicable legal obligations or recordkeeping requirements.

Since we can only respond to a verified request, we may request information from you in order to confirm that you, or an authorized agent designated by you, are the one exercising your right as a consumer. We may request that you send your request through your account (if you have an account) or we may ask certain security questions to verify your identity before we respond to your request. You do not need to create an account with Company to exercise any of your individual rights (access, deletion, or opt-out of sale).

You have the right to designate an Authorized Agent. To the extent that you elect to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, they must provide appropriate documentation including written signed permission from you, proof of your identity, and verification of their identity; or a valid, designated power of attorney as defined under the California Probate Code.

Article 2 – Non-Human Resource Consumers

Section 1. Purpose

This Article describes how the Company processes Personal Information relating to individuals acting on behalf of business customers, vendors, and partners.

Section 2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

Identifiers

Examples: A real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers

Purpose: Account management, communications, service delivery

Customer Records Information

Examples: Contact details, name, signature, address, telephone number
Collected: YES

Commercial Information

Examples: Transaction history, records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies

Internet or Network Activity

Examples: Website usage, browsing behavior, online transactions, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website, application, or advertisement
Collected: YES

The Company uses analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how users interact with its website. This may include IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs.

The Company may also use cookies or similar technologies and may permit third-party analytics and advertising partners to collect information directly from users’ devices for purposes of analytics and cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Service providers and contractors (e.g., hosting, CRM, analytics providers such as Google Analytics), advertising partners, for purposes of providing marketing, personalization, and advertising services
  • Business partners where necessary to provide services
  • Authorities where required by law

All such disclosures are subject to contractual restrictions consistent with California Privacy Law.

Section 6. Sale and Sharing

The Company does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration.

However, the Company may share Personal Information with third parties (such as analytics or advertising partners) for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising.

Section 7. Sensitive Personal Information

The Company does not knowingly collect Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that would require offering a right to limit its use under California Privacy Law.

Section 8. Retention

The Company retains Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Section 9. California Privacy Rights

California consumers have the right to:

  • Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information collected about them
  • Request disclosure of the categories of sources, business purposes, and third parties to whom Personal Information is disclosed

Section 10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Company uses cookies and similar technologies to operate its website, perform analytics, and support advertising activities. Cookies may result in Personal Information being shared with third-party analytics or advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. California consumers may exercise their opt-out rights via the Company’s ‘Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information’ link or by browser settings. Users may control cookie preferences through browser settings or other tools provided on the website.

Section 11. Non-Discrimination

The Company will not discriminate against any consumer for exercising their rights under California Privacy Law.
