The Brains of the System

CPG’s Controls & Electrical Division, Advanced MRF, is the technological core of CPG recycling systems, specializing in industrial automation and control systems. We collaborate closely with you to engineer control systems that seamlessly integrate machinery and systems, optimizing production, efficiencies, and energy consumption.

A technician in a gray uniform and a red helmet is adjusting controls inside an electrical panel with multiple electronic components and green and black wiring. The panel displays screens with illuminated indicators. The technician's face is not fully visible.

Built to Spec

Advanced MRF control panels are built to spec for each project. We are a certified UL and cUL, UL508A fabricator, so all our panels are compliant with UL and cUL safety standards and NFP70E safety codes.

SCADA Packages

Track inbound and outbound material volumes, downtime events, bale counts by commodity, and other key data points. CP SCADA can also alert staff to over-amp draws, potential motor faults, e-stoppage locations, and loader operator feed inconsistencies. All done in real-time and easily accessible data.

Benefits

  • Real-time monitoring

Real-time data on various aspects of the MRF operation, including equipment status, production rates, energy usage, and environmental conditions.

  • Improved efficiency

By continuously monitoring and analyzing data, SCADA systems help identify inefficiencies in the MRF process, allowing for timely adjustments to optimize performance and resource utilization.

  • Predictive maintenance

SCADA systems can collect and analyze data on equipment health and performance, enabling predictive maintenance strategies to be implemented. By identifying potential issues before they lead to downtime, SCADA helps minimize equipment failures and maximize uptime.

  • Data-driven decision-making

SCADA systems collect and store large amounts of data, which can be analyzed to gain insights into MRF operations and performance trends. This data-driven approach allows for informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Integration with other equipment

SCADA systems can be integrated with third party equipment, such as baling lines, to create areal time data on MRF output.

Overall, implementing a SCADA package in your Material Recovery Facility can lead to increased efficiency, improved safety, reduced downtime, and better decision-making, ultimately contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the facility.
