A $50 million investment projected to divert 224 million pounds of recyclables annually.
LRS and CP Group teamed up to create a cutting-edge recycling facility in Chicago. The Exchange, equipped to process single-stream recyclables and municipal solid waste, can handle up to 25 tons per hour with plans for expansion to 35 tons per hour. This innovative facility, projected to divert 224 million pounds of recyclables annually, features advanced technology like the CP Auger Screen and CP Drum Feeder for efficient sorting and processing.
Furthermore, the Exchange incorporates six optical sorters from sorting equipment manufacturer MSS, with each of its MSS Plastic Max optical sorters dedicated to specific materials to enhance the recycling process.
